I just got the sad news that Sister Horn passed away Saturday. Thyat is sad to hear. The knowledge that families can be together forever does help though. I never made it to any reunions and have not seen or talked to Horns since my mission. If anyone knows what newspaper to find her obituary in when it appears and if the Horn Family does not mind could they please put it in here. Im not sure when it will be in. They live in Missouri right now but Either The papers in Texas or Louisiana could have that information. I could never see Sister Horn getting upset. Since I never seen them since my mission She only got to hug me once. Though If I seen here since she would of . When I die and meet her again. From President Packers las t ces fireside and my present age I dont think the milenium will happen in my lifetime or if it does She will again want to give all hte elders a hug that she couldn't in the mission field. I am prett yssure her and President Horn are going to the celestial kingdom and I hope we all are too. It will be nice when we are all there and we will no longer be sad or have to say anymore goodbys. Joseph Smith said in Doctrine and Covenants section 130:2 says the same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there. Only coupled with eterna glory. She was a registered nurse constantly handling almost any infirmity of the mortal body that we missionaries bore. In the celestila Kingdom she will not have to listen to that but just good news because we passed the test of mortality. It seemed like she had lots and lots of energy which I am sure in her waning days of mortality she was not able to use. Now she has an incomprehensible amount of energy. I remember hearing a story of When The Horns joined the church. Brother Horn was in a bishopric or branh presidency. They had to go to a meeting and he must of picked someone up at his house whose wife was complaineing. He then went on to say that she was fully supportive of him when they first joined the church then for many years afterword too. When his callings in a high council stake president, regional representative and mission president took him away from him It does not sound like she ever complained. With deepest sympathy to President horn his children grandchildren and friends and family I send my deepesest condolences.

i knew Justin jaccard livedin the provoarea. I looked up the provo daily herald online. If you want his obituary go to the archives. and type his name. www.harktheherald.com You should have no trouble finding it. I am not too good at pasting and besides would not feel it is appropriate to put his obituary on a website without the families permission.

I got the message today that Doug Cannon passed away on the weekend. He was a great person, missionary and friend. He is on to a better place, but he will be missed.
I am thankful for the gospel knowledge we have that we know more about life hereafter.
He was a great example and a valiant Elder.

This is weird but I am looking for an Elder who served in the Pine Hills Ward, Orlando FL, Florida Tampa Mission during the summer months of 1987-1988 (I think these are the years??!!) This Elder should remember "the wrong number" call from a 14 year old girl looking for her friend Cory. I talked to this Elder who laughed at me because after mentioning his name Elder ? I responded with "Oh, that's a nice name. My fifth grade teacher's name was Elder." I didn't understand why he was laughing! I wasn't a member then and never even gave it a second thought. This Elder told me about the Church and the "job" that he was doing for the Church. I called him a couple of times later, to see how things were going. But eventually I had to stop calling because my parents found out that I was talking to a 19yr old boy. He agreed with him and I thought that that WASN'T cool at all. If any of you know this guy, let him know that you never know when you will plant the seed! I joined the church when I was baptized 10 years later in the Hunter's Creek Ward of the S. Orlando Stake! My husband and I were sealed in the Orlando Temple in Feb. 2000
THANK YOU!!!!
