I'm living in NM, in the Enchanted Hills ward. My husband Jess and I have 5 children: our oldest Po'ikai (boy) is 20, Nainoa (boy) is 18 and leaving for his mission next month Oct. 11, 2013 to the Quezon City, Philippines Mission, Rachael (girl) is 14, Koen (boy) is 9-almost 10, and Prisca (girl) is 4. We've been here since 2000. I'm so happy to be a part of La Mission Francaise de Bordeaux and look forward to catching up with all whom I was blessed to serve with.... Other companions I served with not yet on the selection list are: Soeurs Aagard, Smith, Cheng, Gallear, Brown, McCagno, Dever, Wolsey, and Kunkel...
Speaking of which, Soeur Holt (Glover now) and I just found each other on facebook--and that we both live in the SAME state all these years! We arranged to meet at the Albuquerque Temple this past Friday! It was soooo wonderful to be with her and catch up with each other and talk about our mission memories and experiences etc... She took me hiking on one of her favorite trails--where we saw a deer prancing, two snakes, and plump ladybugs, a lizzard, tons of butterflies and gorgeous wild flowers...Then we dipped our feet in the freezing mountain creek! It was a beautiful day! Being together again brought back a flood of memories; not only with each other but of ALL our companions and Elders we served with: including our loving President and Sister Andersen and family!
