Some people have asked about this in the past and I finally pulled it out of storage. I have a French translation of "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" that was done by Soeur McCune(?) back in '98 sometime. Just email me if you want a copy.

J'ai eu quelques discussions avec le Président Cuénot au sujet des droits d'auteur. Selon lui, la Mission est toujours autorisée à distribuer les versions françaises de Cumorah et de Il Est Jésus Christ. J'ai donc mis à votre disposition les deux albums, en format MP3, sur mon site web personnel.
Les albums sont emballés en format ZIP, et sont assez costauds: Depuis_La_Colline_Cumorah.zip est à 54Mo et Il_Est_Jesus_Christ.zip est à 69Mo. Mais n'hésitez pas: je peux supporter jusqu'a 500 téléchargements de chaque album par mois, sans aucun difficulté.
Pour ceux que s'intéressent aux détails techniques, les fichiers MP3 ont étés convertis avec le logiciel LAME, en utilisant --preset-standard. Pour tous les autres: cela veut dire que vous ne devrez normalement entendre aucune différence entre ces fichiers et le CD originale -- c'est de loin meilleur qu'un album acheté chez iTunes, par exemple -- et la quasi totalité des baladeurs MP3 devrait être capable de les jouer.

I've had some copyright discussions with President Cuénot. He is of the opinion that the Mission retains distribution rights for the French version of Cumorah, and for the French version of Il Est Jésus Christ. Therefore, I've converted both discs to MP3 format and am making them available for download from my personal website.
These are large ZIP files; Depuis_La_Colline_Cumorah.zip is 54MB and Il_Est_Jesus_Christ.zip is 69MB. I have plenty of bandwidth, so don't be shy: I can handle up to 500 downloads of each file per month without any trouble.
For the technically inclined, these are VBR MP3s ripped with LAME using --preset-standard. For everyone else: these should sound virtually indistinguishable from the original CDs -- far better than a typical iTunes track -- and work in nearly any MP3 player.

I have finally located my copies of

I am uploading them into "GSpace", storage space on googles gmail servers, accessed through a FireFox plugin "GSpace".
In order to access the data you will have to install "Firefox" the free, open source web browser (it's way better than internet explorer anyways), and install the plug-in.
I will give the login id and password to anyone who asks, but would prefer if it does not get places where search engines and robots can find it (like this message board) just to reduce the chance of abuse.
I would also like to thank those of you who worked on "Il est Jesus-Christ", including of course Pres & Soeur Cuenot. It is a great recording, and I'm sure it was a tremendous performance.

PS. I should mention that since these recordings were made on my MiniDisc player in France, most of them from other MiniDisc players, and then onto my computer (Analog), that the quality is not perfect. If someone out there has an original CD, I would be happy upload that instead.
Also if someone has some actual FTP space that they are willing to donate, that might be a good idea.

ah minidisc players. They were so the rage. mine broke too, so I'm afraid those tapes wouldn't do me much good. As for a format, .mp3 works best just because it's smaller, but it doesn't really matter to me all that much.
