Youth Programs 20 Jun 2009
If anyone's involved in Young Men / Young Women's, I created a very handy tool to keep track of: Duty to God, YW Personal Progress, and Scouting.

Check it out here: http://tech.lds.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3231

and a video demo: http://demo.youthmaster.org/

Finding someone in France 01 Feb 2009
Hi,
I would have posted this advice before, but I don't get a chance to check in very often. I hope this is still useful (to any of you...)

Try the online white pages:
http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/trouverunnom/RecherchePagesBlanchesPJ.do

When I was looking for a friend who was not answering his phone, I looked up the closest missionaries (unfortunately, not in his town). They told me that they weren't sure, but they thought he was in the hospital. So, I returned to PagesJaunes, and looked up hospitals in his town. Fortunately I guessed the right 1 of the three, and was soon connected to his room.

In bordeaux many of the missionary appartments used to be listed under "les missionnares. You can also try "Eglise de Jesus Christ", I was able to find a listing for the nimes bishops office and the family history center. In pau I was even able to contact a missionnary because I found a listing for the phone in the lobby, and called 8 minutes before sacrament meeting (for me it was very early in the morning when I called).

Good luck, and I hope this helps.

Address of missionaries or members in Nimes? 23 Nov 2008
This will seem like a strange request, but Im at a loss for ideas on which way to turn. When I served in Nimes, I became very close with a woman named Marie Therese Gallegos (now Chapus), who eventually ended up being baptized...our friendship has continued throughout the years, and we have written during all this time...In one of her last letters to me, she told me that she was struggling with her health and due to have surgery. I have not heard from her since, (its been at least a year now) even though I have written two letters--neither of which have been returned. Of course I am concerned about her, and am trying to think of other ways to contact her, or at the very least, find out if perhaps she has passed away....I dont have addresses of any other members in Nimes or any missionaries that might currently be serving there to ask for assistance....does anyone have anything that could help me? I have actually tried calling the only phone number I had for her, but it is no longer her number. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Merci.

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing 27 Mar 2008
Some people have asked about this in the past and I finally pulled it out of storage. I have a French translation of "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" that was done by Soeur McCune(?) back in '98 sometime. Just email me if you want a copy.

a wonderful tribute to President Hinckley 04 Feb 2008
For those of you who havent received a note about this in your email, someone has started a wonderful idea in tribute to our beloved prophet Gordon B. Hinckley...since he inspired all of us with his love of the Book of Mormon, what a touching way for us to show our gratitude to him and our love and respect for his life....here is the link for those who would like to participate:
