ok for all who want to know in slc you can buy creme fraiche at wild oats i have seen it there. however the place i go is in draper it is called pirats o's i think it is about 700 east and 11900 south i just get on 7th e at 90th s and head south they have creme fraiche, orangina, lion candy bars, and tons of cheese. very expensive but very worth it. and also you can find lardons at sams club, sometimes and fredmeyers sometimes. hope that helps.

actually if you are in slc i know where you can buy creme fraiche but if not here is a recipe that is basic and somewhat close. i think it taste good anyway
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup sour cream mix cover
let stand at room temp for 18 to 24 hours
put in fridge for 4 hours voila
it is missionary version so good luck

Does anyone have a good recipe for creme fraiche by chance? Or better yet a recipe for creme fraiche pizza? I've been craving some for quite some time. I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me out. Thanks!
