Comments:
Widowed after 26 years of marriage, single 3 years, then recently sealed/married in Summer 2008 to a wonderful woman in Timpanogas Temple. 5 children (24-32 years of age), IT Product Manager for Russell Investment Group in Tacoma, WA. - Just retired.
Oldest daughter graduated from BYU (like her Mom and Dad did in 1979) and married/living in Colorado Springs - 3 Grandchildren. Oldest son served in Brazil Belo Horizonte East Mission (Jan 02-Jan 04) and currently in SLC, UT. Son #2 served in Brazil Campinas Mission (Feb 05-Feb 07) and now at BYU Law School. Son #3 served in Phoenix, AZ mission (May 06-May 08) and now in medical school in Phoenix. Youngest son #4, served in Seoul West, Korea mission (July 2008-10), now at Utah State Univ.

Spent most of life (so far) heavily involved with family, children's sports teams, outdoor hiking/mountain climbing/backpacking, kid's school activities, and making wives happy.

Church life has centered around numerous YM program ward and stake callings which have been wonderful. Recently served as HC, 3.5 years in ward Bishopric, currently in HP Group leadership.

My sweet wife passed away April 2005 after a five year battle with breast cancer. I spent 3 years doing lots of pondering, then dealing with being single, and doing the dating thing all over again but with lots of mature insight and skills. Blessed enough to find another great woman who has become my eternal partner as well, and we are figuring out how we can get my kids thru missions/college, care and counsel for her 4 adults kids, 11 grandkids, and still have enough money to start our own missions soon.
Just retired after 25 years, at age 55. Contemplating what comes next... Living, working and serving in Europe is most likely.
Can't wait!

All the best.
