Comments:
We have eight children, five boys and three girls. As of October, 2012, seven are married and they have given us 26 grandchildren with another due in April. Our youngest son (#7) was called to the Tahiti Papeete Mission but France denied the visas to all four Elders in the group, right after the Salt Lake Olympics, with a controversy involving Canadian skaters at a U.S. venue and a French judge, so they were reassigned to Côte d'Ivoire. Our middle daughter (#6) served in Arizona Mesa, Temple Visitors Center - Spanish speaking. Other missions served by our sons were California Ventura, Mississippi Jackson, and Finland Helsinki. I am working as a Professional Agrologist and have lived in Alberta since my graduation from BYU in 1971. My wife and I were privileged to visit France in October 1993. When I visited the Wards and saw members taking care of the assignments, my thought was that we did something good here. It was great to see the growth in the Church and the strength of the members.
