Aloha All,
I served my mission 1976-1978 and I am going back to France to visit in late March - April for 3 weeks. If anyone knows the address of the Wards in Paris or any websites of members I can contact to get more info, I will be staying in the Bastille 11th arrondisment while there would be appreciated.
I aslo may be going to Nantes where I served for 6 months. I was there before the new chapel was built we met in house the same property. If anyone knows any members there with e-mails I can contact to get more info on address of chapel again would be appreciated.
Merci,
Brent Fong

I was not only a missionnary at the CES together with my wife but I was also found by 2 Elders in 1966. That was in Versailles. I was not baptized at that moment and moved back to Germany end of 1966. Later in 1972 I met the missionaries again and got baptized in Düsseldorf.
But I still have the Book of Mormon they gave me in 1966 an invitation with their names: Elders Thomas and Bendio.
Impossible to find out more. Can you help me?

I did not know Soeur Lister, but I know that many of you likely did. Here is her obituary from The Daily Herald:
Lorna Dee Lister
9/17/79 ~ 10/05/06
Lindon - Lorna Dee Lister, our most beloved daughter, sister, and friend, died in a tragic accident just below Deer Creek on Hwy. 189 on October 5, 2006. Our loss is too great to comprehend.
Lorna graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1996. She served an honorable mission for the LDS Church in Paris, France, from 2000 to 2002, where she converted many to the gospel. She graduated from Brigham Young University in Social Work in 2003. She was very excited to be accepted in the Master's of Social Work Program at BYU, and had just started this year, where she was seeking to obtain additional education to help her realize her dream of establishing a program to be used in the public school system to prevent youth substance abuse, and other addictive behavior problems. She worked for various different organizations to help troubled youth, including Lightning Peak in Provo, and Youth Care in SLC. She also worked for DCFS in Provo and in SLC, and demonstrated exceptional skills in helping children from substance abuse families to be safe and gain a loving home environment.
She played the piano beautifully, taught herself to play the guitar, loved to sing, and wrote moving songs she wanted to record. She was a talented artist and wrote a religious children's book. She loved camping, hiking, and snowboarding. She was an exceptionally spiritual young woman who touched many lives and inspired many to change and align their lives with the gospel that she so fervently loved. She had so much faith in people, so many times giving of her time and monetary means to help them. Her life influenced many for good; and, even her death is influencing many to live better lives, so they can be with her again.
Her life's mission was cut short here on earth, but most certainly she is fulfilling another mission in the Spirit World where she continues to serve Jesus Christ.
Lorna is survived by her mother and stepfather, Eve and Reed Hansen; her father and stepmother, Brent and Mindy Lister; her brother and sister-in-law, Darren and Rachel Lister, and their children, Ryan and Richard; her little brother and sister, Jon and Madison Hansen; her stepsisters, Diane, Dawn, & Delaine and their husbands and children; her grandparents, Wilbur and Katherine Woods and Myrtle and Aaron Hansen; and many other extended family members and beloved friends.
The pain associated with this trial is great. The family wants to express their appreciation and love to all who have expressed sympathy and sent flowers on behalf of their beloved Lorna. Our love for her is eternal.
Donations may be made in Lorna's name to the BYU Development Office, Provo, Utah 84602, toward a scholarship for a graduate student in the Masters of Social Work Program, that Lorna was completing.
All family and friends are invited to attend the viewings Monday, October 9, 2006, from 6 to 8 p.m.; and, Tuesday, October 10, 2006, from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at 2 p.m., at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, UT, 84058. Interment at Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem, UT.
Webmaster Note: It is with a heavy heart that I post this information. We express our deepest sympathies to Lorna's family and friends, and take comfort in knowing that she is now safely in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

I am looking to get in touch with Alice DeFresne (now LePort I believe) who was residing in Le Havre (at least 5 years ago).
She was baptised as a child in 1982 in Le Havre. She tried to contact me 5 years ago but I was out of touch at that point. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
If anyone has a son or daughter currently serving in Le Havre their assistance would be appreciated as well.
Thank you
Merci

I'm looking to get in touch with Christine Pithois (née Lebris), who was baptised in 1994. Last I knew she was living in Rouen with her husband, Philippe Pithois.
Je cherche à contacter Christine Pithois (née Lebris), qui a été baptisée en 1994. La dernière addresse que j'avais pour elle c'était à Rouen.
Si quelqu'un peut m'aider à la retrouver, j'en serais très reconnaissant. Merci d'avance.
If anyone can help me find her, I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

We would dearly love to visit France in April next year, as this will be our final family holiday (first and only one abroad) before our oldest son leaves for his mission. If possible, we would like to house swap with members in the Paris Stake. We live in Northumberland, England, three miles from Alnwick (where parts of the first 2 Harry Potter movies were filmed). Our house could accommodate a maximum of 10 people and is 20 minutes walk from the beach. If you could help us or know someone who can, please email me. Or maybe you know of somewhere in the Paris region a family of eight could stay that wouldn't cost the earth. Our main objective is for our children to speak French much of the time.

I'm searching for Elder Mark Elliott. We served in Cherbourg together in December 1988 to about April 1989. He was transferred to the Bordeaux area, then the new mission formed. I haven't been able to contact him for many many years. I believe he went to BYU in '90. Any help? Please email me.

If you didn't catch it in the December 2004 Ensign, be sure to read Rémy van der Put's article "Missionaries on the Metro" in the Latter-day Saint Voices section. Link (lds.org).
