I recently came across a couple of sites that might interest other alumni -- they're run by amateur photographers who post one photo per day from the city.
http://www.parisdailyphoto.com/
http://evry-daily-photo.blogspot.com/
And you can try http://www.citydailyphoto.com/portal/ for other cities you served in.

Does anyone know how to contact Celine Villalba? She lived in Troyes and then moved to Lyon. I assume she still lives there. Her email address no longer works. Anyone who has an address where I can write her would be my hero!! Thanks!

On 7/8/07 at aproximately 12:30 Soeur Denise Coupeaux was talking with her husband Albert about her sister in law Georgette, who is dealing with cancer and stated to her husband that she didn't think that Georgette was going to leave this earth first. Albert then asked what are you talking about she then stated that she was going to leave first, got up from the couch and then collapsed and passed away.
She was devoted to the church, missionary work, temple work and the branch of Caen.
One of her desires was to see the new church building built in Caen. The new church building was only opened three weeks prior to her passing and she did actually get to see its completion. She also is now the first person to have a funeral service at the church. The church is beautiful and made from the stone of Caen, which is which her tomb will be made of as well.
She raised 7 children and lived a long and beautiful life setting an example to her numereous grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am lucky enough to have married one of her children (Francoise) and I am forever greatful to Denise and her father for allowing me to marry such a wonderful person. She would not be the person she is with out the great mother that led and quided her.
Her funeral was held on 7/12/07 at 2 pm in the Caen Chapel. More than 200 people attended the funeral and graveside service.
My thanks and gratitude is extended to those that assisted from the Branch de Caen in her funeral services.
She will be surely missed by members of the church and those the knew her.
My love and gratitude for her is extremely profound.

We will have a reunion Friday, Oct. 5, 2007. We meet every Oct. Conf. weekend. It will be 7 - 10 p.m. at the Campbell residence: 1518 N. 375 W. Orem, UT. We will eat nutritious snacks, visit and play a board game if those attending would like. Bringing food is optional. Anyone who served under President Griffin is invited along with their guests or spouses.

As we are in the between season of typical mission reunions, which usually coincide with General Conference sessions, I wanted to just post a comment to advise everyone who is planning and coordinating a reunion to get the notice to me 45-60 days in advance of the reunion date, even sooner if the details are known.
It is highly unfair to those whom you would like to attend to give 1-2 weeks notice to make travel and accommodation arrangements. In most cases it requires several months advance notice to book a venue, and the announcements should be made as soon as the date and location are known. I want to help you make these gatherings a success! Please let me know what you have planned, and I will get them published and distributed.
Regards,
Rich Asay

Bonjour,

Aloha All,
I served my mission 1976-1978 and I am going back to France to visit in late March - April for 3 weeks. If anyone knows the address of the Wards in Paris or any websites of members I can contact to get more info, I will be staying in the Bastille 11th arrondisment while there would be appreciated.
I aslo may be going to Nantes where I served for 6 months. I was there before the new chapel was built we met in house the same property. If anyone knows any members there with e-mails I can contact to get more info on address of chapel again would be appreciated.
Merci,
Brent Fong

I was not only a missionnary at the CES together with my wife but I was also found by 2 Elders in 1966. That was in Versailles. I was not baptized at that moment and moved back to Germany end of 1966. Later in 1972 I met the missionaries again and got baptized in Düsseldorf.
But I still have the Book of Mormon they gave me in 1966 an invitation with their names: Elders Thomas and Bendio.
Impossible to find out more. Can you help me?
