Reunion

With general conference comes a pilgrimage to missionary reunions, an uncharted and unofficial spiritual coming together for former missionaries and their presidents. Come and celebrate friendships and spiritual growth. Take a look back at what was personally achieved and learned during a time fraught with challenges, self-assessment, individual determination and personal sacrifice.

Here you will find information about future renunion plans. Additional reunion information may also be found at
Deseret News.

Dear Georgia Macon Missionaries - Our Wonderful Missionaries!

Greetings to ya'll - We have realized that we now have been home from our Mission for 10 years this summer. It hardly seems possible. We are also saddened that they have dissolved our Mission into the surrounding states - but we all learned to love the "true and living" Georgia Macon Mission...

We have not had a formal reunion for a few years. We would live to have one this year. We have scheduled it for the Friday evening before April Conference, which is March 30. It seems pointless to send letters out since our addresses are out-of-date, so we would like to ask you to send out this information via the social networks that you are probably all part of now.

We are not on facebook or any of the other sites. Would you please get this information to as many of the missionaries that you may be in contact with. Would you please ask them to email or contact us any other way so that we can have some indication of how many to expect.

As we hear from many of you, we are proud of how you are staying close to the Church and keeping your testimonies. That is what our Mission was all about. We have scheduled a building in our stake for this reunion. The address is:

Bonneville 4th Ward Building
1300 East 300 South
Provo, UT 84606

Friday, March 30, 2012 7:00 PM

We plan to have a light dinner and renew many memories. The traffic gets really congested here on that night, so keep this in mind as you travel here - And please be careful! We are looking forward to seeing our favorite missionaries!

Love,
President and Sister Anderson

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
