I was one of only two Canadian Elders in the mission until Elder Courtney Loose went home; then I was the only one for a long time. I was given the nickname of "polar bear" because I was big, fair-haired and from the Great White North. I had to remind my American brethren that Zion does not stop at the 49th parallel.
One of the most memorable experiences of my mission was when we (Elder Lawyer and others in his district) had to cast out evil spirits.
