Will you be in or around SLC, UT any time from May 14 - May 17?
Are you willing and able to donate a few hours of your time to provide English-Spanish translations for a VERY worthy cause?
CHOICE Humanitarian is holding its first ever In-Country Directors (ICD) Conference in Salt Lake City. ICD's are local residents who live in the countries currently being served by CHOICE, and manage the day-to-day operations of their programs and projects.
Among the ICD's attending this conference, there will be three husband/wife teams who are currently working in Bolivia, Mexico and Guatemala. They all speak Spanish and have very limited knowledge of English; so we are hoping that some of you will be interested in donating your time to help them understand the proceedings at the conference.
Nearly all of CHOICE's work in Guatemala takes place in Polochic, so this could also be a good opportunity to get caught up on the latest progress in that area - it's truly amazing!
