What a priviledge to find out about the websites of each mission. I´m so happy I could just have a vaca. My name is Ted Buzis a.k.a Elder Buzo and I served during the time of President and Sister Cedeño. I have just returned to Guatemala (last December) with my family for the first time since finishing my mission. It was so wonderful to see all the people that were baptized during this time and to see their progress. Patulul is now a District and Xela has grown like wildfire.
Well, just a little about myself for those curious ones. I returned from my mission on January 13th, 1988 and married Margarita Garcia from Puebla, Mexico on June 25th, 1988. We have three beautiful children, Teddy, Orquidea(named after a baptism in Santa Lucia Cotzulmalguapa) and Kim. They are 13, 11 and 6 respectively. I´m living in the state of Puebla in Mexico and working for the VW factory here. I´m currently serving (for the second time) as Bishop in the Serdan Ward in Ciudad Serdan, Puebla. I sure hope that I hear from someone during this time. I would also like to organize a reunion in Guatemala for Pres. and Sister Cedeño. We tried last December but it wasn´t possible. brief as possible, and am glad to provide further explination if you
wish. For some years my wife and I have known there is another girl that
belongs in our family. These impressions have become so strong the last
year that we can no longer ingore them. Needless to say we know that we
need to find this little girl. We feel impressed that she is in
Guatamala, she is apx. 5 years old and she is deaf. This is a very
unique child. It is not any child, but specifically our child. My search
for answers and resources led me to your web site. I know the
missionaries, recently returning from that country might just be the way
we could make connections with the right people to find our little girl.
Red tape and cost make a traditional adoption agency impossible. I would be so
grateful for any help or suggestions that recently returned missionaries can give me.

Hey, saludos a todos los que sirvieron en la mejor mision del Mundo. Realmente les doy las gracias por haber ido entre mis hermanos Chapines para poder enseñarles el evangelio. Se que habian areas muy dificiles, y talvez hubieran tenido que pensarlo dos veces si hubieran sabido como iba a ser. Pero gracias por haberlo hecho. Yo soy de Chapinlandia, como muchos sabran, y estoy agradecido de haber conocido a tantos misioneros que ahora son mis amigos. Espero que no se olviden de los tamales, de las tortillas, del chocolate (para los de tierra fria), de los licuados (en Malaca), y de toda las demas comidas (algunos platos no eran muy deseables).
