It has been fun seeing photos and updates from the No ka Oi Mission....

My mission years in Hawaii were years of learning, faith development, and growing. From that skinny, new convert, who knew little, I have served as bishop, counselor to 3 stake presidents, temple ordinance worker, and many others. Sent sons on missions to Japan and Germany, and now enjoy the blessings of 4 grandchildren.

Recently called by the First Presidency to serve as Mission President in the Philippines Cauayan Mission. This is a full circle for me-- joining the Church there in its infancy in the Philippines, going away for school, mission, and raising a family, I now get the opportunity to return to the old country and help strengthen the people and Church there. Looking forward with great excitement to the next 3 years. Thank you to all my companions for their patience with me. Grateful for mission presidents with wisdom and faith and patience to nurture me.

Aloha, and Kindest regards to all, and God Bless.
