Kyle Aihara, Dolan Pritchett, Paul Finch, Kurt Bowen, Barry Bryant...just a few of the boyz that hung in the Laie area and BYU-H campus torching roaches with arosol and lighters, dropping doves with with sling-shots and drinking Samoan Cocoa--not to mention the great misionary efforts we had. Remember?

Thanks to someone reading my request I was able to make contact with Gene Layosa and his son Chuck. They lived the the Kapaa area back in the late 70's. I loved their family very much. They treated the missionaires like family. I will forever be grateful to them and pray the Lord will bless them. I was sorry to hear that their mother passed away several years ago. I would love to hear from some of my companions. Barry Bryant, Charles Millett, William Barrus, Elder Call, Elder Harris, Nord Clark, or any one in Hawaii that remembers me in their area. Keep the faith Elders, Aloha

As we celebrate with the whole world the Yuletide Season, may we

I'm trying this again. I was baptized on Dec 29, 1973 in the Honolulu Tabernacle outside font at
1560 South Beretania Street. I was unusual in that I looked up my missionaries some how and called them up and said I wanted to be baptized. I was living in a small house close to Punchbowl when the missionaries came and taught me. They had a new convert named (I think) Jeff Perez baptize me. Bishop Hao was the bishop at that time. With my wonderful memory (joke) I can't remember the name of my elders. I am still active, served a mission in Argentina Buenos Aires North 1975 - 1977. I have had 3 children serve on missions with the third one coming home on Nov 7 of this year. I would love to hear from the missionaries who taught me those many years ago.
