Thanks to someone reading my request I was able to make contact with Gene Layosa and his son Chuck. They lived the the Kapaa area back in the late 70's. I loved their family very much. They treated the missionaires like family. I will forever be grateful to them and pray the Lord will bless them. I was sorry to hear that their mother passed away several years ago. I would love to hear from some of my companions. Barry Bryant, Charles Millett, William Barrus, Elder Call, Elder Harris, Nord Clark, or any one in Hawaii that remembers me in their area. Keep the faith Elders, Aloha

As we celebrate with the whole world the Yuletide Season, may we
remember and rediscover the joys of knowing the true meaning of the
celebration.

I'm trying this again. I was baptized on Dec 29, 1973 in the Honolulu Tabernacle outside font at
1560 South Beretania Street. I was unusual in that I looked up my missionaries some how and called them up and said I wanted to be baptized. I was living in a small house close to Punchbowl when the missionaries came and taught me. They had a new convert named (I think) Jeff Perez baptize me. Bishop Hao was the bishop at that time. With my wonderful memory (joke) I can't remember the name of my elders. I am still active, served a mission in Argentina Buenos Aires North 1975 - 1977. I have had 3 children serve on missions with the third one coming home on Nov 7 of this year. I would love to hear from the missionaries who taught me those many years ago.

Thanks to all of you who came to the Crandall reunion on Friday night. I talked with President and Sister Crandall yesterday and they were so happy to see everyone and very pleased with the turnout. Seeing their missionaries really means a lot to them.
A special thanks for those of you who came from goodly distances like California, Oregon, and Florida. I hope you feel like it was worth the trip, I know I do.
I hope that those of you who took pictures will post them on the mission web site or if you don't feel comfortable doing that, send them to me and I will post them.
Please do all you can to keep in touch with each other. I am happy to gather and coordinate that information. Each time we attempt to contact people for the reunion we find that we have lost a little ground with contact information, but usually end up gaining more.
Feel free to contact me at fred_m_richard@yahoo.com

For the Willes Mission reunion we will be doing a musical program, but very casual. I would like to invite anyone that would like to participate. I know that many of you learned the ukulele on the mission and made up songs and we would love to have you perform. It can definitely be a church song also, but we would like to keep it casual. Please contact me it you would like to participate.

Benjamin Lee Naylor
Benjamin Lee Naylor 1979 ~ 2006 ROY - Benjamin Lee Naylor, 27, returned to his Heavenly Father Saturday, August 19, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 9, 1979, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Albert Ralph Naylor and Mary Baker Naylor. Ben was married to the love of his life, Kamie Bland Naylor, on June 20, 2001, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He grew up in West Point and had a great love for the outdoors. Ben had a deep love for the Gospel and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Hawaii Honolulu mission. He was a very devoted husband and loved his wife very much. Ben loved to spend time with her and during his last days found comfort that she was by his side at all times. Ben is survived by his wife Kamie, parents Ralph and Mary, sisters Lisa (Zack) and Emily, grandparents William and Delia Baker and Opal Naylor.
