Well, it is great to think back on that wonderful time that was the mission, but also to consider how much one has been blessed since then.
I currently work in Real Estate and Finance, though I have taken a small detour into teaching at a local high school, I am married to a wonderful woman (Maria Isabel), and we have a beautiful family of three young sons (Ian Eduardo, Alistair Rodrigo, and Colin Roberto). We live in the North Natomas area of Sacramento, California, and we attend the Sacramento East Stake "Del Norte" Ward, where I serve as 1st Counselor in the Elder Quorum. I am currently pursuing my M.A. in History at CSU, Sacramento, with an emphasis in Medieval History. I use Spanish everyday, both in and outside the household, and we are raising the boys bilingual to be sure.
I have many fond memories of the mission, especially of the spiritually awesome Pdte. Roberto Ocampo. Please drop me an email if you feel like catching up or remembering old times. I know I had like 16-17 companions so I hope to hear from some of them. I also like talking to everyone else, though, too, so don't be shy. I have been a little busy but I plan to get back in touch with everyone as soon as I find their addresses! I really mean that! :) I love you all though, just so you know!
