The purpose of this section is to post any information you may have that does not fit in the News section. This section could be considered more informal and you can use it to post messages directed at a smaller group of individuals, ask mission related questions, or post various comments that you may have.

If you would like to post church news relating to the mission or important information you have heard from the mission field, you should direct yourself to the News section. You may also post wedding announcements, births, deaths or any other significant life events that you wish the majority of the alumni to be aware of in that section.

Please remember to keep the content of your posting in harmony with the nature of this site and also with the spirit and mission of the Church. Any postings that do not meet the above requirements will be altered or rejected at the discretion of the site's administrator.

Well, sorry for including everyone on this little message, but I must painfully admit that Elder Christensen was right, I have been drinking too much Belikin. I came to the realization, when I was talking to Bruce the other day, that Kent was not apart of the contract (although you should have been, dang it!). It would appear that Elder Reeder has managed to make a fool of himself yet again, I don't know why everyone's not used to it yet. You may revel in your victory for now, Kent, but this is far from over!!!

it seems elder reeder has been drinking way too much salva vida, or belikin. i am not part of that contract, so therefore i will not be paying. i am interested though in receiving a free ticket when one of you does get married just to settle this mix up. p.s. chris mckay was saying he wishes on the personal profile there was a place for how many baptisms you had in your mission. but being the good man i am i helped him to realize that would be against the missionary guide. please chastise him if you see him. Just a quick note to all of you. Please check your email addresses to make sure they are correct. If they are not I keep getting messages sent to me that notifications cannot be delivered to Elder/Sister Tal. That becomes really annoying, so I will either change your profile to not receive notifications, or in a worse case scenerio, I will just delete the email address you listed. If you do not want notifications make sure you do not list your email address, or make sure the option to receive them is off. Also please only list messages once. Thanks. PHIL LUDLOW

This message is specifically for Kent, but it also applies to Brandon Labrum, Bruce Christensen, and Nathan Rivera. I'm so glad to hear how things are going for you, Kent. I am also very happy that you have taken the large step towards completing your eternal happiness (meaning marriage) . . . but, despite the fact that you are extremely poor (sorry) you will remember, and the rest of us have proof of, a little contract that we all signed about who would be getting married first, which--upon your fateful wedding day--will require you to treat us to a Utah Jazz game. I know that it is pretty pathetic that pretty much the only time I contact you is to call you on the contract, but I really am happy for you Kent. Okay, enough mushy stuff, go and check out the ticket office bud.

Hermanos, Here are the highly anticipated details for the mission reunion as promised. WHEN: Friday, April 5th beginning at 7:00pm WHERE: 2152 Wilkinson Center (BYU campus) WHAT: Visiting from 7 to 8--we'll be making a video for the Olivas and will be entertained by Nate Graham's band. Then for the fearless, we'll move the party over to Salvador's Restaurant (350 W. Center in Provo) from 8pm to whenever for pupusas, beans, and fried bananas. TO BRING: Just your sweet spirits and your lovely wives/fiances. The pupuseria is cheap. Also, feel free to bring mission pictures and recuerdos. We're trying to get a hold of a video camara--if anyone has access to one and is willing to bring it, please let me know. This will be a great reunion--thanks to all of you that have RSVP'd. As you can tell the old layout on the other part of this site is no gone, and I've incorporated it into this part. Right now I've only put up the language and food pages, but I'll be putting up the other ones, along with new pages very soon. Expect more changes to come, and for all of you who have made me aware of errors I have fixed those I have found, and am trying to incorporate all the suggestions I've recieved.

I am online too much I guess. Does anybody have any input about reunion dates? I wouldn't mind going to one. It wouldn't bother me to meet missionaries from other generations. Whatever works.

Good idea on the once per year. What we should do is Oliva in April and Perez in October. If you stager them like that, since no missionary ever served under three presidents, each missionary will be able to go to both reunions.

I think it would be fairer to invite all missionaries who have served in the S.P.S. Mission. There are a couple of missionaries here who did not serve under Pres. Oliva.
