Cheers all!

Dave and I moved back to Capitol Hill last fall. We love it down here. I'm still working at the same communication consultancy, and Dave is practicing regulatory and enforcement banking law at a division of Treasury. It's a huge change from NYC private practice, and we LOVE all the extra time together! We keep busy fixing up our old house; chasing around our new Yorkie puppies, Dolley Madison and Bert Marbury (or Mazsola and Kukta, according to my grandfather, who believes all animals need Hungarian names); doing church stuff; getting our culture fix; navigating a politically mixed marriage in the most partisan town EVER; and hanging out with old friends and my many family members in the neighborhood.

I would love to hear from old mission buddies, and we'd be thrilled to see anyone in the area or passing through -- please come crash with us!

Millio Puszi,

Kimber

PS -- For those of you who know my sister from Hungary (or, for that matter, her dramatic bit on the PBS show), the quick update on Charity is that, all things considered, she's doing remarkably well. Her condition takes a lot of time and energy to manage, but she's on new treatments that have stabilized her health to the point that she's been studying and performing in Italy for the last few months, which is amazing. Actually, Chari just won a Fulbright to go back to the Liszt Academy, so it looks like she'll be in Hungary this fall, and she's not planning to slow down any time soon. Thank goodness!

Love to all!

TD
