This week, the international cinema at BYU is showing a film about Hungarian Jews during WWII. It's a documentary done by Spielberg and is composed of interviews with survivors. The international cinema is FREE and shows are in the Varsity theater in the Wilk. Times are Tues 4:25, 7:20, Weds 3:15, 6:10, 9:05, Fri 4:25, 7:20, Sat 12, 2:55, 5:50 and 8:45.
Maybe we'll get to hear some Hungarian! Just thought some of you might be interested in going...it was great to see so many people at the reunion, too.
Also, as we know the Petersons are going home in July, and a new couple will be taking their place in the mission home. President and Sister Clement are from the Seattle area of Washington state. Their info and picture (though not a great picture) is in last aturday's Church News (April 5). I've been tutoring the Clements in Hungarian over the phone since January, and they are wonderful people and dedicated to their new calling. There has also been a senior couple called to serve who are also studying Hungarian and will arrive in the country sometime in June. They are Brother and Sister Backus from Virginia. Just wanted to pass along the
info.
