7-11 07 Jan 2007
it was 8:50pm, Sister Johnson and I had 10 more mintues until we had to be in our apartment. We were trying to have obedience with exactness. I ask if it would be ok if we stopped to get a sluppy and sister johnson said, sure, there is a gas station up the raod. i said, i really want to go to the 7-11. she was like, ok. we go there, we get our sluppies and the lady that she checking us out, said, its on me. we said thank you and she here is a offer for a video on Christ "pass-a-long card". she said thank you. she then asked, who are you girls. we then started to tell her who were and what we do. She said she would be interested in hearing our lessons. the next day she called us! she was really excited to meet with us. on our first visit we ask her, when she know these things to be true, would she be baptized and she said yes, 4 weeks later she became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Then come to find out, her husbad is a less- active member and the ward was trying to find out who he was and if he was still living there. He came to her Baptism and really felt the spirit. So, all i have to say, work hard until the end of the day!

LDS QUOTE:
"The Lord has given no greater charge to His people than sharing the gospel with our Heavenly Father’s children. Missionaries take people out of the darkness of the world and lead them to the safety and light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. To find and teach and baptize and confirm someone who has never paid much attention to God or to Christ and His great atoning sacrifice is one of the greatest services a priesthood holder can provide."
