News Item: Indonesian sessions at BYU Law and religion symposium

On Tuesday October 4th, the BYU Law and Religion Symposium will host three delegates from Indonesia:
- Syamsul Arifin, Professor; Dr; M.Si, University of Muhammadiyah Malang-
- H. Marsudi Syuhud Sahudi, General Secretary of Nahdlatul Ulama, National Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU)
- Said Aqil Siroj, General Chairman of Nahdlatul Ulama, National Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU)
They will speak about religious freedom in Indonesia from 10-11:00 am in the Law School Building on the east end of campus. There is no charge and all are welcome to attend. This session will be in English (possibly with translation).
That afternoon at 4:00 in room 3238 of the Wilkinson Center (ELWC) they will lead a discussion in Indonesian about Islam in Indonesia. This is part of the advanced Indonesian class taught by Chad Emmett. All speakers of Indonesian and Malaysian are invited to attend.
This are high level friends of the LDS Church. Making them feel welcome and appreciated by attending their lectures is a good thing to do.
