Comments:
I have 8 children and 16 grandchildren. After my mission I went to Ricks College (As it was called back then.) It was my second year there. I was studying Elementary Education. When I was one lab short of my Associates Degree, I got married. I shouldn't have procrastinated that science lab thinking I would get it done in the summer!!! :) Anyway, after we were married, we moved to Coeur d' Alene, ID and have lived in the area ever since. I love the mountains, lakes and farmlands here and enjoy being outdoors. My husband and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary this week. Our four oldest daughters and one son are married. Our Second oldest daughter served a mission in Chili, our youngest daugher just returned from a mission to Kobe, Japan, and our son just recently returned from a mission to Rapid City, South Dakota. Our youngest son is heading to Brisbane, Australia next week from the MTC. I am so thankful for my own mission, with it's priceless experiences and people that will be in my heart forever. I pray that I can serve another full-time mission as these older years come upon us! :)
I know that our Father has given us a Plan of Happiness because of His great love for us. I know that He has also given His beloved Son to die for our sins so that we can return to our Heavenly Parents. I am thankful to live on the earth in these last days when the gospel is here and to be able to enjoy the blessings that it offers. Thank you other missionaries for your desire to serve the Lord and for the examples that you set for me. Each missionary that I knew on my mission touched my heart in so many ways. Thank you!!
