Comments:
Once again way overdue for an update. Well to condense things a bit...After I got back from Ireland I joined the Navy, served in San Diego for two years, went to training in San Antonio, Texas to bacome a Master-at-Arms (a Navy Cop), then went on to serve two years in Rota, Spain in the Harbor Patrol Unit and from there I went on to Bahrain, in the Middle East where I also served in Harbor Patrol for one year. I finished up my military service there and as of Nov. 24th I'm a civilian again and looking forward to going to school...finally. I would love to hear from anyone I served with or knew from Ireland.
(Update Oct 14, 2009) Thought I should do another update. After I was officially out of the Navy I decided to take an extended vacation, have some fun and help out the family before starting school. At the start of the year I flew out to Utah and took my mom with me to see her new granddaughter (my brothers kid) that she hadn't met yet and we drove back to Texas in the car I bought off of my sister. And as I was planning to start school I developed some pains and found out soon later that I had cancer. Several months and a couple of operations later I'm now cancer free. And I plan to be starting school soon.
