I would like to re-establish contact with Val Nesbitt. Val joined the church on April 13, 1978 at the Terenure Chapel in Dublin. He was living in Dundalk at the time he met the missionaries. i was so very sad to hear of Noreen passing on to spirit paradise but as has been said mortal earth's loss is most definitely the spirit world's gain. Cork was my "greenie" area on my mission in Jan 1995 and no-one made me forget my homesick as quick as Noreen did. her love, kindness and generosity will never be forgotten by myself and i'm sure countless others who have had the good fortune to have known Noreen in any capacity. thanks for everything Noreen

I last heard of Susan getting married to Bryan Larson, too. I saw her sister Debbie frequently at BYU Provo where she attended school for a while. (I heard that the parents had moved to the U.S., and was sorry to hear it. People that sharp need to stay in Ireland.) Debbie, as I recall, married a fellow from Baghdad, Arizona--a remote place.
I also seem to remember hearing that one or the other of the girls got divorced--but I cannot substantiate that.

Last I knew Sue was in SLC. I had dinner with her and her husband (Bryan Larsen, now ex-husband) and their three boys. Not sure what she's up to now. Her parents and I believe her sister, Debbie all moved over here to the states.

I am curious to know what happened to the Gibney family from Dublin. Elder Thornock and I baptized their daughter, Susan, in 1976. I last saw the family in Bellflower CA in 1977 when Susan married a former IBM (Ireland Belfast Mission) missionary.

This goes back a while but I'm hoping someone could link me up with Veronica Cunningham. She was baptized in 1983 in Cork and married later (Her husbands last name started with an M but I'm getting old and forgetful - I'm also at work so I can't look it up in my journals)

this is for everyones general info, There is an Elder Moffat from Belfast in the Winnipeg, manitoba canada mission. If you remember the moffat's you'll probably remember hims as the little knacker kid, but he's doing great. A little crazy with the cold, but as funny as ever. See, some of those kids do actually grow up. UP DATE: He's kicking but here.... one of the few really great missionaries out here.... really solid...and for once not a slacker!

heyyyya, looking for any info regardin a certain stephan fegan baptized into cavehill ward belfast back in 2001 by myself-elder steiner and haskell. the bloke was a fantastic fella, im aware he struggled after baptism but would appreciate any info on his wearabouts, even address or phone no. if possible, but beggars cant be choosers eh! have a good 1 fellas steiner.
