Nick Dubyk 13 Nov 2003
Hey everyone who was a Nick Dubyk fan, I was trying to find where he was at recently and I did a search on Google. His link was the most viewed link on the section. Go under Nick Dubyk on a google search and it will have Nicks family album on there. the website should be http://dubykfamily.tripod.com/ It's great and all if you want to get the latest on him, but if anyone knows how to get ahold of him tell him to add an email address to the website!

Update on the Mission from Nathan Eggleston 21 Mar 2003
Speaking of the Ivory Coast... Here is some information as to the progress of the mission... The non-local missionaries are still serving in the two Stakes in Abidjan. The others have been sent to Lome, Togo and four more have been sent into Cameroon.

If you'll remember correctly the Ivory Coast Mission was originally to be the Cameroon Mission back in 1991. The Ivory Coast Mission was officially opened in 1992.

The missionaries are safe and doing well and the work is still steadily advancing. Back in January those non-local missionaries with less than 6 months remaining on their missions were sent home honorably and the others were sent urgently to Togo or elsewhere.

I spoke with a member in the area just a few days ago and despite reports of mounting violence it is still relatively calm in Abidjan. The members for the most part are safe as well as the missionaries. The mission president and his wife as well as (if i'm not mistaken) couples are still in Abidjan. (You'll remember that the northern branches were evacuated in mid september when the rebels first began to seize the North). Things are going great!

President Steenblick and his wife will soon be replaced by the new mission president in early July (Richard & Pam Norby of Tooele, UT). We are awaiting their return and report on the situation and progress that that is being made despite the unfortunate situation. Keep them in your prayers!!!

[President Evanson will also have a mission update from President Steenblik at the April 4, 2003 Reunion. Click here for latest mission update]

Carte De sejour 24 Feb 2003
Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows how I could get a hold of my 2nd carte de sejour (you know, for a souvenir.) I was to recieve it before I left but no luck. The mission office should have recieved it just after I left in Aug 2000. Any ideas?

Question from Stephanie W. 24 Jun 2002
I would like to have some news about a friend of mine who used to live
in the Bordeaux (FRANCE) mission but who went back to the Ivory Cost in
1992. She has been baptised in the Talence branch (Bordeaux Mission) in
1991. Her name is Marie ABESSE and I think she lives in Abidjan (or
around). Does anybody know her ? Could anybody tell me how she is doing ?
Thanks a lot !
Bye !
Stéphanie

Does anyone know how I can get in touch with OULAH BOUH Victoire in Yakro. Her family lived in the quartier Gendarmes near the chapel. Please contact me. Go to my profile and you can write me an email.
