Fukuoka Japan Temple: Facts and figures 

Location: 47-2 Hiral Josui, Machi, Chao-Ku, Fukuoka, Japan.
Temple presidency: Masaru Tsuchida, president; Michio Kurogi and Kimio Yoshioka, counselors.
Rooms: Celestial room, two endowment rooms, two sealing rooms and a  baptistry.
Size: 10,800 square feet. On lower level is mission home, mission office  and temple president's apartment.
Exterior: Two granites: Empress White and Majestic Grey granite from  China.
Architect: Kanji Moriya
Contractor: Taisei Construction Co.
District: Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Kumamoto, Okayama stakes and Kagoshima, 
Matsuyama, Nagasaki, Takamatsu and Yamaguchi districts.
Pertinent facts: Announced May 7, 1998; ground broken March 20, 1999; 
open house held June 1-3, 2000, with approximately 4,800 attending.  

Dedicated in four sessions by President Gordon B. Hinckley on Sunday, June 
11, 2000, with 3,280 in attendance.  Schedule: By appointment only.
