Served in the UT Army National Guard until 1985 as a helicopter crew chief; the United States Navy from 1985-1990 as a Modern Hebrew linguist.

Worked in Church Translation Department from 1990 until 2002.

Currently a Contracting Officer with the US Deparment of Veterans Affairs.
