Comments:
We moved to Orem 10 years ago and are quite settled here. My husband works at a software firm as well as teaching as an adjunct for UVU. We have 2 daughters, Katie (21) and Kirsten (17); we have two Collie dogs, Cassie and Koda. Katie is studying to be an art teacher at SUU in Cedar City, UT. Kirsten is determined to be an Archeologist :-) and will be a Senior at Orem High School this next year. I worked in Radiation Therapy for 10 years, but now I am at home (kind of) and enjoy serving in the PTA, and learning just about anything. I am involved with the Advanced Master Gardeners at Thanksgiving Point and spend a fair amount of time there - there's not a better place to be on a beautiful day! I teach gardening classes for church and civic groups, as well as at Thanksgiving Point, and judge horticulture and floriculture at neighbouring county fairs. At this time I'm also serving as a counselor in the Stake YW presidency, and we're getting ready to go to Camp next week. It seems odd to have been home from Japan for nearly 25 years, it is still so close to my heart.
