Comments:
I am 25 year resident of Vancouver, WA in the Portland, OR area. My wife Pam and I have raised four boys and a girl and have seen four sons serve missions and three sons and a daughter get married in the temple. The fifth will marry in the temple on June 24, 2011. We will soon have three grandchildren. The four sons have served in Michigan, Lansing, California, San Diego, Mexico City South, and Virginia, Richmond missions. No one in Japan, but it was all good anyway. We are members of the Vancouver, WA East Stake and the Lacamas Creek Ward.
My nephew Brent Rigby also served in Sendai in the early 1990s so we have had a family relationship with Tohoku.
I have never been back to Japan but hve paid increasing attention to Japan in recent years. I would love to return.
I loved my mission and look to it as having set a strong foundation for the rest of my life.
