Maeda Osamu, 57 passed away on April 12, 2008 at the national cancer center in Tokyo. He was born in Gifu on December 5, 1950 as the eldest son in the Maeda household. He returned to heaven after a six-year struggle against laryngeal, lung and lymph cancer. His wife and second son were his care-givers at home. He was a representative director at Interac, Inc. Besides his Sendai mission, he served devotedly in any church calling serving others, from a primary or home teacher to Shibuya Ward Bishop and Tokyo South Stake President.

２００８年４月１２日、東京の国立ガンセンターにて死去しました
享年５７歳
２００２年に喉頭ガンと診断されてから、肺ガン、リンパガンと転移と手術、放射線治療等を繰り返し、
在宅治療時には妻と次男による献身的な看護を受けつつ、６年に及ぶ闘病生活の果てに天へと還りました。
社会では、株式会社インタラック代表取締役を務めました。
教会では、仙台伝道部において伝道活動に従事し、東京南ステーク会長、渋谷ワード監督をはじめとし、
プライマリー教師でも、ホームティーチングでも、どの職にあっても献身的に会員のため、主の業のために献身的に奉仕しました。
