Request for Assistance to all RMs from Current Mission President 09 Jul 2009
09 Jul 2009

To the greatest missionaries in the world:

I have a special onegai. As you may know, some of the members that you baptized when you were in the Sendai Mission have gone inactive. I think that many still have a testimony, but just got out of the habit of coming to church. I am asking our missionaries to visit these inactive members.

To help us get in the door, we would like to use your name. If you have picture and/or an address of the member, that would be even better. Please send me the names, addresses (at least the city) and pictures of the people you baptized, together with any other relevant information (approximate baptism date, your companion(s) who also taught them, etc.) We will visit them and try to rekindle the testimony they had when you were here. Thank for your help.

Heavenly Father is really blessing us. The work is going well. We had 31 baptismal commitments last week. The gospel is true. Dendo is the greatest. Japan Sendai Missionaries are the best missionaries in the world. Thanks for your continued help. With your help, this mission will continue to grow. Every week I see the fruits of your labors. You have helped to establish the church. Thank you for your great sacrifice, both then and now. I continue to see God's hand in the work every day. Ganbatte!

Thank you.

President Tateoka
