CLEARFIELD -- Aleen Butler, 25, died March 14, 1984 at the Brigham City Hospital following an automobile accident.

She was born Jan. 17, 1959, in Ogden, a daughter of Eldren L. and Evelyn Webb Butler.

She spent most of her life in Clearfield. She was a 1977 graduate of Clearfield High, and attended Weber State College for two years. She would have graduated from Utah State University this spring with a major in English and a minor in library science. She was a member of the Clearfield 11th LDS Ward, and she served an LDS mission from 1981-82 in Japan, Sendai Mission. She was active in the LDS Institute at Utah State University.

Surviving are her parents of Clearfield; one brother and two sisters, Van L. Butler, North Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert D. (Ruth Ann) Bell, Shreveport, LA., and Marilyn Butler, Clearfield.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield Stake Center, 935 South State, Clearfiled, with Bishop Milton Flinders of the Clearfield 11th Ward officiating. Friends may call at Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State, Friday 6-8 PM and Saturday 9:30-10:30. Burial will be in the Clearfield City Cemetery.
