Bradley Clayson Moore died on Monday, January 15, 1996, near Malad, Idaho, doing the work he loved. He departed this life with some of his closest friends when their plane crashed en route to a business meeting in Pocatello, Idaho.

He was born August 4, 1959, in Payson, Utah, to Maynard Cleon and Gaylia Clayson Moore. Brad grew up in Payson, where he attended school and graduated from Payson High School. As a senior, he was president of the LDS Seminary and won the Sterling Scholar Award in business for the State of Utah in 1977. He served an LDS mission in Sendai, Japan, from 1978 to 1980. He married Carrie Lynn Ashton on July 10, 1981, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He attended Brigham Young University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1983. During his years at BYU, he worked as an accountant for Tremco Consultants in Orem. Upon their graduation from BYU, Brad and Carrie moved to Tucson, Arizona, where Brad took a staff accountant position with Price Waterhouse. He earned his CPA certificate in Arizona in 1985.

They returned to Utah in 1985 and Brad went to work for Price Waterhouse in Salt Lake City. In 1986, he joined Swire Pacific Holdings Inc. as controller for the Coca-Cola franchise in Salt Lake City. At the time of his death, he was vice president and chief financial officer.

Brad loved the Lord and served Him with devotion, holding many positions in the LDS Church. He held the office of High Priest and served as a counselor in two bishoprics, as ward clerk and was serving as a member of the High Council in the South Jordan Stake.

Brad's hallmark quality was kindness. He had a tenderness and a compassion for people that endeared him to his family, co-workers and friends. He was a loyal husband and father who cherished his wife and children. If given the choice of how to spend his time, Brad would always choose to be with his family. He loved to spend time with them, working in the garden, playing games before bedtime and talking them to many places he wanted them to experience. He loved golf and used his new driver last Saturday hitting balls with his son, Stephen. They were inseparable. Brad adored his two daughters, Camille and Katherine. They inspired a tenderness in him that was uniquely theirs, and he loved to plan the future with them. He loved and supported his wife in everything she did. His ultimate goal was to make her happy.

Brad is survived by his wife and children of South Jordan; his parents of Payson; his brother, Randy, and wife, Ruth; his sister, Carolyn Pope, and husband, Clayne; his sister, Gwen Coltrin, and husband, Steve; his in-laws, Bruce and Helen Ashton and their family; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at noon Monday at the South Jordan 6th Ward, 2580 West 9800 South. Friends and family may call at the church Sunday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral Directors: Valley View Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Swire Education Trust Fund, Swire Coca-Cola USA, 875 So. West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84101.
