Virtual Fast & Testimony Meeting 19 Mar 2006
Reminder: All Registered JTNM Alumni and Mission Presidents:

Dear Japan Tokyo North Mission Alumni and Mission Presidents,

It is a great blessing to read your many comments, updates and testimonies in your postings. I am pleased to announce the 1st JTNM All Alumni Virtual Testimony Meeting to be held on Sunday, May 7, 2006. May 7 is the Fast Sunday following April General Conference and will provide a great opportunity for us to share our written testimonies and experiences with one another and reflect upon what we learned at Conference. This virtual gathering should also prove to be a great way to catch up on things with one another and to share many great JTN mission experiences.

We can accomplish this virtual meeting through our CHAT room which is provided as one of the features on our JTNM Alumni website. I invite you to participate in our Virtual Testimony Meeting by signing onto the web site and clicking on LIVE DISCUSSION in the navigation menu, (http://www.mission.net/japan/tokyo/north/chat.php) and leaving your browser and chat session open throughout the day. Since we have alumni in many different time zones and our Sunday schedules provide for limited windows of opportunity to be online, I suggest that to view everybody's written testimonies, you open your Chat session Saturday night and leave it open throughout Sunday if possible. Your postings in the Chat should be uplifting and be consistent with the spirit of our Fast and Testimony Sabbath. Other Chat rules are provided by the website on the way into the Chat room. I will arrange to record the meeting and post the transcript on the website so those unable to participate live will have the opportunity to review the transcript later on.

Only registered site users can participate in the Live Discussion, so if you know of any JTNM alumni who are not yet enrolled at the site and who would appreciate the chance to participate in our virtual testimony meeting, please encourage them to register as soon as possible so they can participate. Use the "Invite a Friend" link in the nagivation menu on the website if you know their email.

Mark your calendar! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding how to log into the Chat room. I look forward to hearing from many of you on May 7.

Sincerely,

David van der Leek
