Some of the alumni of the Japan Tokyo North Mission will remember Elder Bradford from the early 80's era. The following was announced in the LDS Church News on July 1.





President & Sister Bradford

William R. Bradford, 72, Eagleridge Ward, North Salt Lake Utah Parkway Stake, called as president of the Houston Texas Temple, succeeding Richard H. Sutton. President Bradford's wife, Mary Ann Bird Bradford, will serve as temple matron.
President Bradford is an Emeritus General Authority, a former member of the First Quorum of the Seventy, area president and counselor, assistant executive director of the Church's Curriculum Department, managing director, executive administrator, area supervisor, president of Chile Santiago Mission, branch president and elders quorum president. He is the retired owner of a fruit and vegetable and shipping company in Texas, Mexico and Central America. He was born in Springville, Utah, to Rawsel William and Mary Waddoups Bradford.
Sister Bradford served with her husband when he was a mission president, and is a former member of ward and stake Relief Society presidencies, Primary presidency and Young Women presidency. She was born in Mapleton, Utah, to Freeman C. and Eva Marchbanks Bird.
