Japan 101

Getting accustomed to living in Japan

You are an ambassador of the Lord called to serve in another culture with authority to declare his word. Remember that a skilled ambassador knows how to cope with the differences between the people where he serves and his own.

The links to the pages below will help you to learn about the cultural differences between east and west. Here you will learn about the feelings one gets when he or she suddenly encounters a new culture: it is called culture shock. This shock can be lessened through understanding these differences.

If alumni or visitors have any additional information or photos they would like to contribute to these references, please let me know.
