Yukio Kumazawa, 41, Japan Tokyo North Mission; Yokohama 1st Ward, Yokohama Japan Stake; stake president's counselor, former mission president's counselor, high councilor, and bishop; served in Japan West Mission, general facilities department division supervisor for the Church; earned bachelor's degree from Senshu University and degree from the Jochi Social Welfare Professional School in Social Welfare Management; born in Hokkaido, Japan, a son of Yuzo and Takada Kumazawa; married Hideko Shimizu, one child.

She is a former Primary president, counselor, and teacher, and nursery leader; served in Japan Central Mission, 1971-73, born in Nagano, Japan, a daughter of Hiroshi and Komeko Shimizu.
