Larry F. Ogden, 40, an attorney, is a seminary instructor in the Whittier California Stake. He was born to John Filbrun and Hermese Broadbent Ogden in Ogden, Utah. He married Judith Kaye Mortensen Aug. 4, 1965 in the Los Angeles Temple. Their four children will accompany them on their mission assignment. Pres. Ogden received a bachelor's degree from BYU and a juris doctor degree from the University of Utah before beginning his practice of law. He has served as bishop twice, ward clerk, and Sunday School teacher and priesthood quorum instructor. He also served a full-time mission to Japan from 1961-1964.

Sister Ogden was born in Huntington Park, Calif., to Donald Grant and Dorothy Hyde Mortensen. She is a counselor in the ward Young Women presidency, and has served as Young Women president and teacher in the Young Women and Relief Society organizations.

It doesn't seem possible that it has been 20 years since we were in Japan serving with the greatest missionaries! We have been separated by time and space but you have never been separated from our hearts.

Now it is time to join together again and celebrate the mission experience that brought us together. Thanks to Elder Van der Leek a reunion is in progress and scheduled for Friday, April 1, 2005, in Salt Lake City. We are eager to see each of you. The greatest challenge we have is finding everyone. Please spread the word to any returned missionaries you are in contact with. Have them log on to the web site and register so they can receive all of the reunion information. This is a trememdous task but one well worth the time and effort.

We look forward to this wonderful reunion with great anticipation. What a joy to see you again!

Much love, The Ogden's
