LET'S GET TOGETHER!
Here's the word, using Kipling's "six honest working men."
Who: Everyone who has labored in the greatest of the Lord's latter-day work, in the great Kenya Nairobi Mission, and their spouses or dates.
What: A Kenya Nairobi Mission reunion! Food, great company, sharing one another's fascinating "war" stories (which should be better than ever with the process of time-aging), and hearing the latest report on the status of that great East Africa mission and the choice people living there, by President and Sister Waldron, who recently completed their watch.
An endowment session in the Provo Temple, followed by lunch in their cafeteria Friday morning. Gather in meeting room #1, downstairs by the cafeteria, in the temple, at 0900 hours.
When: Thursday evening, 4 October 2001, from 1800 to 2100 hours, plus the temple session, for those interested and able to attend..
Where: Stadium Avenue LDS Church building, 650 Stadium Avenue, Provo, Utah. (Stadium Avenue is an East-West street, on the North side of the Provo MTC, and LaVell Edwards Stadium.)
How: Bring $5 per person to cover expenses, come in nice casual clothes and we'll first eat while we renew acquaintances, then repair to the chapel for a presentation by the Waldrons.
Why: Because we love you all, we want to stay in touch, and we wish to keep alive the memories of the remarkable, life-altering experiences each of us enjoyed while serving there.
