News Item: Kampala, Uganda to become a Stake

Hello everyone. Greetings from Kampala. For those of you who served in the Kenya Nairobi Mission when Uganda was a part of the mission, I am pleased to inform you that the Uganda Kampala Mission Presidency announced that Salt Lake has approved the creation of the Kampala, Uganda Stake. At the announcement which was made in church at the Kololo Chapel this past Sunday, President Odongo said that they anticipate the stake to be created in January. I will be in contact with the mission as the date gets closer, so keep your eyes open for an exact date.
