The Following has been sent to me from President Brown:
"Several of the West African missionaries who served in the Kenya Nairobi Mission are striving to improve their temporal conditions. For instance - Brother Musa is earning a living by teaching computer classes. He needs additional computers and tutorial software. Brother Thomas, who lives in Virginia, is in regular contact and has a mechanism to ship items to Sierra Leone safely. Brother Kanu has an opportunity for university education in Botswana. A couple from Sierra Leone who now live in Botswana have offered to provide school fees and room and board if he can get a plane fare to Botswana. He said, this family were investigators of Elder Matthews and Elder Kanu in the KNM. Brother Russell is working as a HVAC technician. He could use tools to assist him in his work. Brother Milton is operating a photo studio. He could use additional camera equipment, etc. If anyone has ideas or suggestions on how we can assist these brothers in the pursuits they have developed for themselves, please let me know."
