Comments:
I went to Korea in January/February 2007 to pick up my nephew from the Dae-jeon mission. I traveled with my husband, sister, brother-in-law, and nephew. It was awesome to be in Korea again! We spent most our time in the Daejeon mission and Seoul. I was happy to be able to see three Koreans from my mission--Sister Lim (Pres Seo's wife), Ee Kee-Young (my district leader in Chinju), and Choi Jung-Sook (my companion in Seogwipo). It was so great to see them all. Sister Lim lives with her daughter in Seoul. She tracked us down at the temple and took us shopping at Nam-dae-moon. Ee Kee-Young is a bishop in Kong-ju (my nephew's last area). He is a salesman for Hyundai and has 2 daughters and 2 sons. We stayed at his house for 2 nights. Choi Jung-Sook lives in Seoul and has twin 3 year olds. We went out to dinner three different times and attended church together. Korea has changed alot. I mostly noticed there are a lot more US businesses now. I feel I was blessed to have had such a great experience.
