Just wanted to give everyone an update. The company that broadcasts the Korean channels switch transponders and in doing so also unencrypted the 2 previously encrypted channels. So now there are 2 addional channels that come in free, ISC (KBS, SBS, MBC 'Jahm-Pong') and everyone's favorite, JSTV (gospel channel). The information concerning the signal rate for these channels on www.lyngsat.com/g10r.shtml isn't quite accurate but just email me and I can tell you what worked for me. FYI, MBC (KISB) is broadcasted on a different satellite but that would require an additional satellite. MBC1, MBC2 and MBC3 are there but as far as I have heard MBC1 is the only one that isn't encrypted. I will find out this weekend when I put up the second dish. Again, if you have questions feel free to email me. Ahn-Young, Jami Olsten |
