Comments:
I have now been married for three years and been home from my mission four years. Our first son was born on August 30. My other companions were Elder Distlehorst, Elder King, Elder Judkins, Elder Greene, Elder Donadieu, Elder Karstad (my only son), and Elder Benitez. I was blessed enough to be in Mada for the dedication of the first chapel, the dedication of the land, the organization of the first stake, the arrival of the malagasy Book of Mormon and disscussions and the conversion from a french mission to a malagasy one. I look at the names of the areas these newly returned missionaries served in, and I don't recognize alot of them, I remember when Elder Distlehorst and I opened Ambohiminarina and we thought we were far from the city, then while I was there Ivandry was opened, but now Tamatave. Wow. If any of you newly returned elders served in the same areas I did let me know how the members are doing there, especially Mahazarivo, I loved that area.

LDS QUOTE:
"Wouldn’t this be a good time for a little self-evaluation to determine if we still have the same relationship with our Father in Heaven that we enjoyed in the mission field? If the world has diverted us from the practice of prayer, we then have lost a great spiritual power. Maybe it is time that we rekindle our missionary spirit through more frequent, consistent, and mighty prayer."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
