I was just wondering how some families in Madagascar are doing. I'll mention the names and if anyone has an idea drop a message. In mahazarivo Chambon, Emile and Aimmee, Edmond and Meltine and Raymonds large family. In miandarivo Frere Jacques, and Frere Joseph. In Ambohimanarina Souer Nirina and her two kids. In ambohipoa I can't remember his name but he was the sunday school leader. Frere Theirrry up by Fort Duschene, and Frere Guy. Betongolo the two sisters, I can't remeber their names I think vola was the name of one of them. In ambohipoa Frere George, and any other family. Updates of any families in those areas that were members between 1998-2000 would be appreciated thanks.

What can you send to Elders in Madagascar?
What do they need or enjoy?
What is the best way to send parcels? How long do parcels take to get there?
Love Sister Irwin

Just a quick request to know if anybody has the new address of Nick Staley. I know he got married about 18 months ago, and can't seem to get in contact with him. Does anybody have his most current e-mail address?
Also for information, I am going to be a father in August.

Manahoana all,
Does anyone know how to contact Brent White? I haven't been able to find him. I guess I should give a brief update for those who care. I am loving grad school in biblical studies here in North Carolina, and Mary Anne (Stewart) and I are expecting our third child, a girl, in August. We will be in Provo this summer as part of a BYU NT commentary project they are doing. Take care, and thanks for the info.

Chris and i know a great couple from the Oak Hills Ward here in Provo, the Harmons. They were called in February to serve as "French speaking Mission President," but they didn't know where they would serve until today. We just found out that they will succeed the Hills in the Madagascar mission this July! Hooray!
By the way, anyone in the Utah area, Thomas Bullman is visiting from Ireland and we'll be getting together at the Bombay House in Provo for dinner Tuesday March 4th at 6:00pm. If you have any questions, call us at (801)376-7242 or Sierra and Mike Stevenson at (801)607-3789. He's staying with Trent Erickson (801)558-4650. Long live the Irish!

Hey Mada Missionaries--
I'm working on a research paper about the Merina ritual of Famadihana and I would like to hear from anyone who was able to attend one.
Please email me at at47@email.byu.edu with your own account of the ritual (especially info about the dancing), and your phone # with a convenient time I could call if you wouldn't mind me doing a little phone interview.
Merci d'avance and misaotra tompoko!

Amber and I really wish that we could have gone down to the mission reunion last October, but due to the distance we couldn't. I know that there are a lot of RM's up here in Canada, and though I see some of them often, I think it would be cool if there was a mission reunion set up here in Canada. Amber and I are planning on getting into a house this summer, and once we do, we would love to throw some sort of party and invite ALL of the missionaries to attend, but until then, we don't have enough space to plan anything. Does anybody have any suggestions? Would anybody want to come??
Amin'ny manaraka,
Weston

LDS QUOTE: |
"Wouldnt this be a good time for a little self-evaluation to determine if we still have the same relationship with our Father in Heaven that we enjoyed in the mission field? If the world has diverted us from the practice of prayer, we then have lost a great spiritual power. Maybe it is time that we rekindle our missionary spirit through more frequent, consistent, and mighty prayer."
