Congrats Nicholas on your mission call. Puebla is a wonderful place and I hope that you enjoy your mission. About the boots, I had a pair of all-leather Timberland boots I wore most of my mission. I had to sew the stiching a couple times, but they held and I actually past them on to another elder after I finished. Best advice is to rotate your shoes and keep them dry.
