Wayne C. Player was President of the
mission when I arrived. He was manager of the Deseret Gym in SLC. When the
church decided to demolish the old gym, located between the Hotel Utah &
the Relief Society building, he was call as mission president. When the new gym
was finished just up the street where the Conference Center now stands, he
returned to manage the new unit. He was succeeded by President Keysor. Anyway,
please get President Player's name added to the Presidents list of choices.

September 1963 Dedication at Far West
Ray Crowell was great to submit these historic photos. There are photos
of the dedication of the Far West Temple Site after the Church was able to gain
ownership in the early 60’s. There are also photos taken at the time the
Liberty Jail Visitors Center was dedicated. This also was in 1963.
