| My comp and I were walking when we came across this man who was out in his garden. We invited him to hear the discussions and he said no. I decided to pry and asked why he didnt. He said Because I dont believe that you need to pray through anyone to talk to God; ie Virgin Mary. I said Neither do we. He said I believe you have to submerge someone for them do be baptized. I replied So do we. He said I believe that the Bible is the word of God. I said So do we. He says Well I believe the only way to get into Heaven is through Jesus Christ. Of course I replied So do we. He then gave up and asked What exactly made us unique. I said The Book of Mormon. Before even knowing what it was, he refused. I thought about how much people would be utterly surprised to know what we actually believe. |
