Galbadrakh 14 Mar 2003
From a letter dated 01-17-2003: Galbadrakh is the name of someone that we are teaching. His is an amazing story. He was an orphan that lived on the street since he was ten. He is now 18. One of the senior sisters is working with orphanages here, and she found him on the street in a lot of pain. He had a surgery that was very bad and the scar tissue was causing problems, and he had a hernia. She decided to help him out and is paying rent at a member’s house for him to stay there, and she got him medical attention. He came to church and wanted the discussions. We met with him and he seemed really like he was only listening because he was getting help. But we taught him and really talked about how he had to have the desire. He still seemed like he was going through the motions. He has taken a complete 180. He is amazing. He is so excited about the gospel. He goes to institute and is always at church. He has become a completely different, happy person. I love to see they way the spirit works on people. -Elder Isaac Solmes, Mongolia
