Portsmouth, NH | Companions: Freyja Johnson | Comments: I returned from New England in February and have been living with my parents in Woodland and working in Park City. My seasonal "professional babysitting" career ended a couple of weeks ago and I'm getting ready to move to Salt Lake to finish my last year at the U.
I loved my mission so much and have missed it a lot. I actually made it back for a baptism just six weeks after I came home which helped! I love it so much, and would like to make my way out there in the near future to live there for a while. It's in my blood!
I am anxious to get to Salt Lake and get moving on my education. I'm graduating next spring in Sociology and will be working on my insurance license in the meantime so I can work with a charitable contributions program here in Utah. A master's degree in International Development is also a strong possibility because my heart lies in International Humanitarian Aid. We'll see how that goes.
Life is good and although post-mission life has it's bites and the transition can be less than desirable, I can't be so selfish as to wish for more than what the Lord intended. It was such an amazing gift and I'll forever be grateful for the opportunity to serve. |

LDS QUOTE: |
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lords work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
